Bio of Cross Creek
Native to West Virginia our music has a country / folk blend of gospel. In 1997 we began singing and sang for our home church for Heritage Day. Our pastor named the group Cross Creek in honor of our church.
We have been part of three recording projects to date. "I Believe" recorded at Harvest Studio, Huntington, WV. "Going Home" recorded at Hilltop Studios, Nashville, TN. and "The Cross" recorded at Raney Recording Studio, Drasco, AK. Based in Eleanor, West Virginia we have preformed numerous bookings at churches, festivals and fairs throughout West Virginia and Ohio. Also appearing on television in Columbus, OH., Nashville TN. and Pigeon Forge, TN. Our number one goal is to sing the praises of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to the lost of this world. In the end if I we do what is required of us there may be lost souls realize they are lost and make a change. As a friend once told us "Success is measured by how your songs hit the hearts not the charts."
Statement of Faith
We are born again Christians who attend Cross Creek Community Church at Buffalo West Virginia. We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired word of God, given to be our road map in this life to guide us to the Father in Heaven. Only the Blood of Jesus Christ can cleanse a person from sin. We also believe in the submerging in water baptism as an outward expression of our faith in Jesus Christ. We feel God has sent us to encourage our fellow Christians and extend an invitation to the lost for our Savior Jesus Christ through song. May God continue to extend his grace and mercy to us that we may see souls saved.
